In the month of February 2020, God said to me, "When you buy you something, buy them something", "They would like to eat what you eat". Since, I was newly released from my lifelong assignment at The University of Cincinnati, I was extremely excited because that was a simple instruction to follow to help the homeless in Cincinnati. I promised The Lord that I would use any money that was given to me from my fellow co-workers at my retirement party. OMG, they really laid it on me, they gave in abundance, an overload of blessings. I thank God for each of them every day for being the first sowers into my new ministry and honoring me that way at the end of my service with them at UC. I mean It was a BOOOM in finances!!!!

So, my two girls and I used the money and gift cards to purchase fruits, vegetables, cakes, snacks, and big Core water bottles. At that time, since Valentine’s day was coming within 9 days, we used that theme of love to express to the homeless people. We bought Valentine’s day bags, candy, cards, and bibles to express God's love for them. The girls wrote God loves you notes and placed red heart stickers on the bags. They made the bags colorful and full of goodies to eat.

So, on Friday, February 14, 2020, in the evening we went out looking for homeless people on the streets of Cincinnati to bless with these "goodie bags". We started in Clifton because I had been giving out food to the homeless around UC in the months prior. Later, we drove to Walnut Hills and then to Downtown Cincinnati. The next day on Saturday, we stayed on our side of town, the west side. We gave out goodie bags in Price Hill, Westwood, and Western Hills. We drove up and down Glenway, Harrison and Queen City Avenues introducing ourselves, meeting new people, hearing their stories, and giving them hope that God cares.

Currently, we have expanded in giving out more food, drinks, gift cards, clothing, hats, gloves, blankets, shoes, and personal hygiene items gift bags (called God's Goodie Bags) to the homeless and the needy (God's Precious Ones) on the streets and the interstate exit/on ramps of the City of Cincinnati, Ohio. We have also reached out to other areas.
